Karen Dawkins helps women over 60 regain the strength, balance, and flexibility of their youth!
Ms. Dawkins (a.k.a. Coach Karen) is a Holistic Health Coach. She holds a master’s degree in human services from Lincoln University and has devoted her life to teaching, motivating, and empowering women to live their best lives through non-religious spirituality, exercise, and nutrition.
Karen believes nutrition and spirituality are solutions to many of today's illnesses, mental health issues, and dis-eases. Coach Karen has been in the fitness industry for more than two decades. She is certified in Personal Training, Group Fitness, Relaxation, Meditation, and Stress Reduction Techniques, and teaches First Aid, CPR, AED, and BLS training.
As a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, and she offers virtual and in-person training options. She has a passion for teaching strength training, Pilates, and gentle stretch classes for women of all ages, including the Silver Sneakers. (70+ years)
Karen's dedication to her work is fueled by her passion for positive change. She is deeply committed to living a wholesome lifestyle and caring for the well-being of all beings and the planet. Her personal interests include enjoying whole foods, meditation, and communing with Mother Nature.
With over two decades of experience in the fitness industry, Karen Dawkins has honed her unique approach to wellness for women. She combines body movement and proper nutrition to promote healing and well-being. Breathing techniques and meditation are integral parts of her programs, designed to bring balance and harmony to the mind and body.
Karen is a proud mother of two, London -&- Rikia. And an amazingly smart and athletic granddaughter, Jailyn.
